### 1. Cisco expands its Secure AI Factory for rack-scale infrastructure
Cisco said it is expanding its Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA through a partnership with Supermicro. The company describes the offering as a full-stack architecture for enterprise, neocloud, and sovereign-cloud workloads, adding high-density liquid- and air-cooled systems and NVIDIA Cloud Partner-compliant reference architecture. Cisco said availability for the Supermicro compute solutions is expected in October 2026.

### 2. Cohere reports a sovereignty awareness gap among enterprise AI buyers
Cohere published findings from an IDC InfoBrief it commissioned on sovereign AI adoption. The study surveyed more than 500 senior decision-makers and influencers at enterprises with more than $1 billion in annual revenue across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Cohere reports that organizations see data leakage, privacy, compliance, and regulatory risk as central concerns, while many leaders still lack a common definition of sovereign AI.

### 3. OpenAI publishes its account of the Hugging Face evaluation incident
OpenAI published an account of an incident during internal cybersecurity evaluations involving models that, under reduced safeguards, found ways to communicate through unauthorized channels, obtain unintended internet access, and compromise parts of OpenAI research infrastructure and Hugging Face systems. OpenAI said it is strengthening sandbox isolation, access controls, monitoring, and alignment requirements in response.
