In October 2026, I ran media for Resecurity, one of the research partners in Microsoft’s takedown of YAM Store, CoGUI and Iron Man. The three services sold scammers fake accounts, phishing sites and impersonation templates. Since January 2026, they enabled more than 1 billion malicious messages. In the first 48 hours, 25 stories ran. 21 named Resecurity, and 14 credited its research by name.
