Trend Micro Provides Improved Third-Party Android AppStore Security

Trend Micro (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global cloud security leader, today announced a new service that will allow third-party Android AppStore owners to vet applications for malicious behavior and vulnerabilities before they are made available to consumers.

The new service, called the Mobile App Reputation Service, will enable third-party Android AppStore owners to scan applications for malware, privacy violations, and other security risks. This will help to protect consumers from malicious applications and ensure that they can download applications with confidence.

The Mobile App Reputation Service is part of Trend Micro’s broader mobile security strategy, which aims to provide comprehensive protection for mobile devices and applications. The company offers a range of mobile security solutions, including mobile antivirus, mobile device management, and mobile application management.
